prAna clothing Review!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by prAnafor the review free of charge.**

When I am not working or out running errands I pretty much live in my yoga and pajama pants because I enjoy being comfortable. I was recently asked if I wanted to participate in a campaign for some great products for a company called prAna who specializes in yoga, travel & adventure clothing, when I saw their yoga pants I knew I had to accept the offer and say yes so I am now a #prAnaMom. Why was I so excited over their yoga pants? I love the funky and cool designs they offer and feel in love with the Juniper yoga pants. For the review I was asked to select one bottom and one top, can you guess which bottoms I choose? Top wise I decided to go with the Daria Sweater Hoodie in black.

Let's review the pants first, the Juniper yoga pants retail for $89 and are made from 53% Hemp - 42% Organic Cotton & 5% Spandex and come in three different colors, it is available in a XS-XL. Hemp fabric makes this pant naturally UPF 50+ and odor reducing. They have a fitted leg with a flare bottom and an elastic waistband. Out of the three colors the pants come in I selected the Blue Kali because my favorite color is blue and I enjoy the design of the pants, one thing I noticed when wearing these yoga pants vs a pair that are one solid color is they seem to really emphasize your legs and butt. The pants are extremely comfortable and strangely enough they help keep you cool and warm at the same time. It is still pretty hot here during the day but I am perfectly comfortable wearing these during the day, and at night not only has it been cooler but we generally keep our house at 75 degrees so it gets a little chilly in the room at night and these help retain the warmth which is nice. I get sad having to take these off to put regular pants on to go to work hahaha, I want a to own a few of their other yoga pants now as well. The stitch of the pants are great, the only thing I would change is the very bottom where the foot area is it has a raw edge hem detail which I am not too crazy about but I do love the flair bottoms it almost makes me feel like I am going out to a disco or a nightclub, normally I don't go out in my yoga pants but I have actually gone to the store wearing these because of how comfortable they are I didn't care if anyone gave me funny looks. I also noticed that they have stitched the pants to give it added strength and stretching ability in the crotch area which is great for when you are doing yoga, working out, etc.

Now onto the Daria sweater hoodie. This hoodie retails for $89 and is available in a  XS-XL in four colors, it is made from 55% Organic Cotton - 35% Merino Wool - 10% Nylon. This isn't normally the kind of shirt I would get for myself but it looked so cute online I wanted to test it out and it is very cute in person and has many features I love, however I underestimated my skin and even after running this through the wash is super itchy on my sensitive skin. What drew me to this shirt is that it has a front kangaroo pocket which is perfect for keeping your hands warm during the winter, and it has a cute fashionable hoodie plus the arm holes aren't your typical short sleeve like shirts normally are instead they are cocoon sleeves. The shirt fits comfortable and fits well.

Want to get a pair of Yoga pants of your own? You can use code TMF17SW until October 19th to receive a 15% off discount of your prAna purchase. (not valid on sales items)

Chedz Giveaway & Review!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Chedz for the review & giveaway free of charge.**

Do you love cheese? If the answer is yes then you will love Chedz, What is Chedz? They are a flavorful, cheesy and wholesome snack produced with great care by Hall Brands. They offer seven delicious flavors and several of those flavors are gluten free. The flavors are Mild, Spicy, Gluten Free Mild, Gluten Free Spicy, Gluten Free Peppercorn, Gluten Free Mexi, Gluten Free Chia.

Some of my family members are big cheese fans, they love string cheese, cheese on crackers, etc so I knew these would be a big hit in the house. Two of the bags were opened and two bags were taken over to my mothers house for the football game before I was even able to find time to take photos of them so that really tells you how much everyone loved them. They are great to snack on, they have the consistency of a cracker but are packed full of cheesy flavors. I am sadly not one of the bigger cheese fans in my family so I can only eat about five or six of these before I feel full but they are pretty tasty, my favorite is the mild. All of the Chedz are pretty consistent in size and measure about as long as my pinky finger and the width is about the same as well, so they are a pretty decent sized snack. A suggested serving size is about 10 sticks.

Not only are they great for snacking but they are also wonderful for cooking with. You can use the Chedz as a replacement in almost any recipe that calls for bread crumbs or crumbled crackers that you'd like to have a cheesy flavor layer to it. I used my Chedz in place of the crackers that my meatloaf recipe called for. They crumbled perfectly and mixed in with the meat well, I did note they seemed to cook faster than crackers do so the edges may get a little crispy but to me they were perfect and really gave the meat loaf a elevated taste to them! I have also added these to my salads in place of adding croutons and parmesan cheese. Careful though they are tasty and will leave you wanting more so the bag will be empty before you know it! Not sure what you'd like to cook with them? The Chedz website has a whole page of recipes you can try out.

PRIZE ALERT:
One lucky winner is going to win Seven bags of the assorted Chedz flavors + a Chedz fidget spinner.

Storybrook Hollow Giveaway & Review!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Storybrook Hollow for the review & giveaway free of charge.**

When I think about Halloween I think about all of the spooky decorations, pumpkins, cooler weather and fun costumes. There are tons of Halloween decorations for your yard and inside your home, but I find that a lot of them lean towards cute than spooky so I've been on the hunt for props and decorations that are a little spookier because what is Halloween without a few frights? Storybook Hallow is a magical Etsy shop filled with handmade fantasy creations & works of art including unique gnomes, dragons, skeletons and more.

I've always admired the animal skeletons I've seen in the store but they are a little too plain for me because on a lot of them you can tell they are plastic so when I was browsing their shop the raven skeleton prop on a rustic wooden perch caught my eye. It is a full sized Halloween faux-taxidermy raven skeleton prop and it is spooky, neat and unique. The bird is made to look like it has gone through a bit of mummification and is in late stages of decomposition. This raven retails for $75.

This raven makes the perfect addition to my kitchen island during Halloween for all of our guests to see. I generally like decoration the island because it is the first thing you see once you enter our living room/kitchen area from the front hallway so this makes a great center piece and conversation piece. I've been asked what I am going to name him but I honestly have no clue. The Raven is well put together and none of the feathers are at risk of falling off, the whole piece is light weight and well made, and it is defiantly unique, I know I've never seen anything like it.  Their shipping was quick and the raven was packaged just right to keep him safe during shipping. A Raven not your style? Storybrook Hollow also has a neat faux-taxidermy dragon, nature headbands, garden gnomes and more.

PRIZE ALERT:

Xehar Clothing Review!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Xehar for the review free of charge.**

Finding cute clothing is always fun, sadly I can never usually find cute clothing in stores so I usually resort to buying clothing online since it is a lot easier to find clothing I actually like and want to wear. I recently found a website called Xehar that sells a wide range of clothing for curvy girls so I took a look through their clothing and found tons of clothing that are cute and functional. I wanted something I could wear for work that was comfortable so when I spotted the Payton Stylish Flowy Tunic (Retail $29.99) I thought it would make a good choice for work.

I love the heather grey color it comes in and that fact that it has pockets, it is perfect for carrying your lipbalm, cash, etc. The shirt is made from 95% Rayon 5% Spandex so it is extremely comfortable and soft, my only problem is the shirt is a little too flowy for me. I have a large chest, and since this fabric isn't really extra flowy it just hangs straight down from the front of my chest instead of going in a bit so it looks a little like a tent on me I think I need a size smaller. My brothers girlfriend is pretty happy though because I passed the shirt onto her and not only does it fit her a lot better but she absolutely loves the shirt especially the pockets. One of the things I enjoy about their website is their shoe selection, there are so many fierce styles.

Narley and Chikki Giveaway & Review!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Narley & Chikki for the review & giveaway free of charge.**

Aside from Christmas, Halloween is definitely mine and my fiance's favorite Holiday and we enjoy showing off our Halloween spirit. We decorate the house both inside and outside, we have friends over to celebrate, we visit pumpkin patches, and more. Up until about two years ago we only owned a few indoor Halloween decorations because we had lived in nothing but apartments so now that we have our own home we love adding new decorations to our collection every year. Last year we went with a spider theme, we had a giant web out-front with giant spiders in it along with spider egg sacks hanging from the porch and more. This year we are going with more of a grave yard theme and one of the things I had pictured having in the yard was a wooden directional sign post.

Looking around for sign posts some we too cutesy and others just didn't seem to have the Halloween spirit, that is until I found Narley and Chikki. Their outdoor rustic Halloween sign post had everything I was looking for, it had Halloween inspired fonts on each sign, it has several different locations that suit how our theme will be and the wood has a nice rustic feel without looking too new or too old it was right in between.

The signs do come with the post needed to set them up in the yard and the wood screws needed to install the signs on the post. Each sign was wrapped individually to help keep it safe during shipping which I appreciate and I know others who purchase similar type products would as well. Each sign is hand calligraphed using black acrylic paint then sealed with a clear matte sealant to protect it from the elements. They each measure 14" and 16" long x 3 1/2" wide, and the post is 3' in height, for mine I will be getting a slightly larger post but this has nothing to do with the shop, my front yard has a layer of rocks and I want this to sit up a bit higher to be seen above some of the other decorations like the headstones.

One of my favorite things about these signs is that they are made from reclaimed wood, so each one is unique and won't look like the next sign which is perfect. Each piece is sanded down and sealed so you won't need to worry about rough edges or splinters when adding the signs to the post. At the end of the Halloween season you can either store them still on the post or they can easily be removed within just a few minutes. This sign post sells for $110 for the signs + post + screws which is a great deal, if the signs aren't suited to what you'd like they have other sign sets for weddings and more plus a number of other wooded and non-wooded products like the giveaway prizes below.

PRIZE ALERT:
One lucky winner is going to receive a Framed Halloween Front Door Sign ($30 value) and a Appliqued Halloween Tote with your choice of applique ($15 value) as seen above.

Olivia Jane Couture Review!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Olivia Jane Couture for the review free of charge.**

It is amazing how many small details go into preparing for your big day, so where to start? Aside from the venue and date which are two big details that should be worked out first one of the next most important items is the dress and the accessories that go along with it. After all doesn't every bride want to look her best on her wedding day? Some brides will opt for a fairy tale type dress with all the gems and add-ons it comes with and others will opt for something more simple and add on a sash for a bit of flare. I am one of the brides who is going for a less over the top dress but I still want to add a bit of sparkle so I will be wearing a rhinestone and ribbon sash with my dress.

I recently happened to come upon a beautiful Etsy shop called Olivia Jane Couture who sells a wide selection of beautiful eye catching wedding sashes and belts. Each belt and sash are handmade and are offered in a number of beautiful colors, if you do not see a color that matches your dress or wedding colors you can request a custom ribbon which is what I did with the red. Not only did shop owner Svetlana put the rhinestones on the ribbon but she also lined the back of the rhinestones in red so that everything matched and looked complete.

The sash is a one size fits all, the ribbon is pretty long as you can see in the first image above, I would say it is about twice my height and I am 5'4" so no need to worry whether this will fit for not. If you need to trim it down you will be able to without any issues or you can leave it a bit longer to create a beautiful bow in the back which is what I plan on doing. The rhinestone embellishment I received  measures about 11.5 inches long and 2 inches wide at the widest point, it does have a bit of weight to it but it isn't a crazy amount of weigh about what an average belt would weigh.

Looking over the rhinestones I can not find a single stone that is out of place, chipped or loose everything sits as it should. The sash I received features four different sized rhinestones along with a few small clear beads as you can see in the middle of the image above. This piece is absolutely beautiful and is an accessory that is sure to not only add a bit of magic to your dress but it will have your wedding guests telling you how well it compliments your dress. The sashes range in price from $38-$130 so there is something that fits every budget.

Want to WIN a sash of your choice? Stay tuned and keep an eye on my blog! Sunday October 1st,2017 I will be posting a wedding prize pack giveaway featuring some beautiful wedding products for one lucky bride to win.
